Meet Our Speakers

James Beckman is currently  co owner of Gas Light Equine and Bluegrass Equine Emergency Service with his beautiful wife, Dr Kerry Beckman. He is a graduate of Oklahoma State University  College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Beckman has a passion for figuring out sustainability in equine practice and young veterinarian retention  in equine practice. He has served on many AAEP task forces and working groups on sustainability emergency practice. He is currently president of the Kentucky  Veterinary Medical Association.  He and his wife are typical Kentuckians, they have two children,  2 dogs and too many horses to count.
