Stacy Gentry

Stacy Gentry has spent more than 30 years in the veterinary profession, building her career from client service to hospital leadership, practice ownership, consulting, and executive coaching. Her commitment to creating strong hospital cultures and exceptional client experiences has shaped every stage of her professional journey. After serving as Practice Manager and later co-owner of Wellington Veterinary Hospital, Stacy transitioned into veterinary consulting, where she found her calling in leadership development and helping hospitals improve operational performance, communication, and team engagement. Over the past four years with Blue Heron Consulting, Stacy has partnered with veterinary hospitals across the country to strengthen leadership teams, improve workflows, and create sustainable growth strategies. Recently promoted to Director of Hospital Performance at Blue Heron Consulting, Stacy specializes in leadership development, operational efficiency, team accountability, coaching, and client experience. She is known for her practical, relationship-centered approach that helps veterinary teams create meaningful and lasting change. Stacy has also coached communication skills and taught professional development for third-year veterinary students at Colorado State University. She remains passionate about developing confident, empowered veterinary leaders and helping teams thrive in an evolving profession. When she is not consulting or coaching, Stacy enjoys spending time with her husband, Vince, their children, and numerous pets. She loves hiking, kayaking, camping in the Rocky Mountains, and exploring Colorado�s local breweries.
