Meet Our Speakers

Dr. Brooks received her DVM from Michigan State University and completed a rotating internship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She then practiced as an ER veterinarian at the Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center in Waukesha, WI before pursuing residency at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, becoming board certified in 2014. She is currently an associate professor in small animal emergency/critical care at Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine. Her interests include transfusion medicine, fluid therapy/electrolyte abnormalities, and point-of-care monitoring modalities with an emphasis on ultrasound.
