Meet Our Speakers

Dr. Eric Fish is a veterinarian, pathologist, and educator with over a decade of experience spanning academia and the private sector. He earned his DVM at Western University in California, followed by a rotating small animal internship at Virginia Tech and a combined clinical pathology residency and PhD at Auburn University, where he stayed on as faculty from 2016-2019. Dr. Fish was an early adopter of digital pathology, founding the start-ups CytoVetStat and Lacuna Diagnostics. His areas of interest include hematology, genomic biomarkers of cancer, and the use of AI/ML in pathology. Based in Tampa, Florida with his wife and four pets, he balances his professional pursuits with personal interests in travel, literature, and music.
