Meet Our Speakers

Dr. Kelsey Birchall is originally from the Wisconsin/Illinois border and attended the University of Findlay in Ohio for her undergraduate studies. Dr. Birchall then graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. She started with Banfield Pet Hospital as a student job program participant at a location near Kansas City, KS and the company has been stuck with her ever since! Dr. Birchall has worked for multiple Banfield locations in multiple capacities, including, Associate Veterinarian, Area Chief of Staff and Interim Director of Veterinary Quality. She now serves as Banfield’s Manager Campus Liaison for the Midwest overseeing relationships with veterinary schools and students. Her professional interests include mentoring and coaching veterinary students and new graduates, presenting medical and leadership topics to veterinary professionals, client communication and education, and companion animal preventative care. In her free time, Dr. Birchall enjoys spending time with her family, reading fiction, trying new restaurants, traveling, and listening to true crime podcasts.
