Michelle Shane joined the Kentucky Board of Veterinary Examiners (KBVE) as the Executive Director in July 2018. Michelle specializes in aiding agencies to modernize statutory and regulatory language, making rules comprehensible and transparent to citizens and agency constituents. She is an expert at improving efficiencies, documenting processes, and working through large projects with diverse stakeholder groups. Michelle has more than 21 years professional experience in both the private and public sectors, including statewide program management, database and website management, field inspections, permit review, crafting regulations and statutes, regulatory enforcement, and grant review and management.
